Healing, at the root, means restoring wholeness and wholeness has to include grief, death, and shadow, not just ease.

Grief moves through the body as much as the mind, held in old aches, or in the exhaustion of holding everyone else together first. I companion the bereaved, the caregivers, the empty nesters, anyone metabolizing a loss that doesn't fit the shapes grief is supposed to take.
Some of this work happens in conversation; some of it happens on the table, where the body gets to release what the mind has been carrying alone

For those standing at the edge of dying, their own, or someone they love. In-home presence for the questions that arrive after a terminal diagnosis, and for the practical, physical care, acupuncture, gentle bodywork, herbal support, that can ease a body's last chapter.
This is guidance, counsel, and above all, presence: to witness, to be available, to listen without flinching.

Grounding literally means to be planted back into the Earth, to be in relationship with Earth, our Earth body and Earth kin. Our fate, in terms of human survival and welfare, is interlinked with not only the well-being of the planet, but our relationship to it. Specifically our ability to live differently, reciprocally, symbiotically. But our ability to stand in the tension requires us to attune and regulate, and this depends on our biological and physiological health. Simply stated, the strength and resilience of our nervous system relies on the health of our blood and circulation, our thyroid, digestion, sleep, our mind and mood, and so on.
Therefore, a healing model that resonates with me lies within identifying where you need more support, when it’s time to rest, and revealing your resources and that which grounds you, all in consideration of your genetics, epigenetics, life experiences, interruptions and current environment. It is about your biology and your ground, your nervous system and your story. There is no greater currency than presence.

Bodies feel, dissociate and suffer, which instigates adaptation (an acquired skill) and eventually makes space available for healing. Making consciousness - how subtle shifts in your body, mind or sensation when something physical, mental or emotional is experienced - is the process of embodiment.
And. It is both so hard and so necessary to be embodied. I see you, and I am listening.
Our work is here - to feel, acknowledge and unburden ourselves so we can keep going.
We move at your pace and with the understanding that you arrive already whole. My role is to partner with you, in respect and trust, and to follow what emerges.
We require relationship, meaning-making and deep attunement to heal. I want to first envision what this looks like for you then overcome the limits that a disease-management system provides.
And because we’re an ecosystem, embedded within rippling rings of other ecosystems, we also understand that the spaces we occupy (physical and psychological) are shared experiences, inseparable from one another. To be responsible to how we care for ourselves is an act of mutual ecological and societal care.

I wish for us to be active and engaged in this healing relationship.
A practice that is gentle yet deep, heart-centered and medically grounded. We will collaborate and sit in honesty in order to maintain integrity. I may use tools (like acupuncture), physical support (like craniosacral therapy), companioning or psycho-spiritual support (from herbal or plant medicine) which gives you feedback, but the idea is that you’re generating the dynamic that your body will ultimately respond to and heal from. And it is up to you how this moves you forward, how you turn this into an offering, a mediation, your medicine. I will take the detritus of our work together and return it to the compost heap, where rot turns to life and the wheel of fortune continues on.
